أنا لا أتحدث عن المحتوى فهذا الموضوع نوقش عشرات المرات ومن حق أى شخص أن يكتب باللغة التى يستريح لها
لكن ما أقصده كما قد يكون واضحا من العنوان هو واجهة عربية للموقع مع امكانية التبديل بين لعربية والإنجليزية بسهولة كما يحدث فى كل الدنيا
ما يدعونى الى هذا أن أحد الأشخاص سألنى عن موقع يقدم دعما عربيا وعندما أخبرته بذلك بدا متشككا بسبب أن الموقع انجليزى تماما على حد تعبيره والسبب فى ذلك ربما لعدم توفر واجهة عربية للموقع
موقعنا بالفعل يدعم العربية كما أن أغلب الأخبار الرسمية تكون بالعربية أو توجدترجمة لها فلا يبقى الا الحصول على واجهة عربية فهل هناك مشكلة فى هذا ؟
محتاجة upgrade
ترجمة drupal 4.5 ناقصة جدا، لكن 4.6 شبه كاملة و بالتالي ممكن نعمل واجهة عربي لو عملنا upgrade للأسف مفيش غيري أنا و محمد سمير اللي بنقوم بأي شغل على دروبال باقي المديرين مطنشين
وعد مني نعمل upgrade قريبا المشكلة الوحيدة هتبقي في جاليرهات الصور

actually we've been waiting for an upgrade for a long time now, alienbrain contributed code that relies on upgrade, we talked about interface and navigation improvements that rely on upgrade, ya3ni upgrade is a major bottle neck, let's be in a hurry it is already too late. (and I'm among those to be blamed for it).

Amr Gharbeia volunteered to finalize drupal translation on his own, we are at the last stages of core drupal translation now, you can track activity through arabeyes.
since he was the only one actively working on the translation, and since he prefered to use kbabel.
the webabel experiment did not succeed, while the tool proved to be adequate it did not inspire people to casually contribute to translation (not to mention that many felt casual translation breaks consistancy).
that is why webabel is no longer running, if you think eglug will still benefit from a webabel installation (or a similar tool), please say so we can reinstall it under eglug proper this time if the community feels it would be useful.
