I'm not voting
To vote implies that the subject is up for debate. It is not. It is clear Diaa won, and this poll is pointless.
Also I agree with the rest; while we're democratic and all, we're spending too much time on this. The worst case for me is giving the post to Ezabi since in my mind he didn't win, and even this is better than dragging it on.

how is it not for debate
it is alreayd a topic for debate, more than 40 messages where exchanged, if thats not debate I don't know what is.
and the poll got 27 ballots, which according to our charter is the criterea for what is worth a vote.
IMO what is really worth a debate is how to interpret and enforce rules.

if a handful of members choose to post tens of comments about what 2 plus 2 adds to in an in topic context, if from this discussion a request for vote was proposed and recieved the 27 ballots then there is no avoiding discussing it.
if you personally don't want to ignore it, if it turns out only a handful cared anyway and the whole thing was overblown the poll will either fail to get minimum number of votes or fail to reach a 2 thirds majority.
as bad as it sounds thats the only possible course.

Okay guys really I have nothing personal (I even don't know ezabi & conceptor) but a win is a win. If Conceptor was the winner at the exact moment of the deadline - then so be it. No need to re-elect or anything.
Btw (I'M NOT BEING IRONIC) if you're taking any action based on this poll, then please end it on time to avoid "recursive" arguements. (Again, I'm not making fun of anyone).

Extra rules for moderators and administrators

I have some points for elaboration on this thread, I hope I don't distract anyone by my way of thinking
1- I agree that this is a virtual space, so there should be a minimal attention concerning who administers or moderates the forum and/or site.
2- Despite what was mentioned in the users description, I think there should be some conditions to be fulfilled for a user to become a moderator and others to be fulfilled for a user to become an administrator.
3- Pre-requisites for moderators are the following to my humble thinking: a- FULL understanding of the roles of the moderator. b- Wiseness and know-how to handle various threads. Good way of thinking concerning how to deal with problems that arise on the forum. c- Moderation doesn't mean overdoing things which means it is a responsibility.
4- Pre-requisites for administrators are the following: a- Full understanding of the roles of the administrator. b- Good knowledge about web server administrator. c- Good knowledge about the software around which the site is built with.
5- Conceptor's point of view is if we set up principles we should stick to them as much as we can. Sticking here means strict sticking and no exceptions are allowed.
I voted for doing the election once again based on what I wrote above. I think that the person who is to be an administrator should fulfill the conditions I stated above otherwise not to go for this election.

the poll is made cuz there is was no solve for the problem 2 days talking in forums , more than 40 comment and nothing solved !! do we keep it like that ?? or we do it 3 admins ? or what we do ?? no hard feeling from me guys. but what we should do ? the 2 hours problem. got any another solution ? i guess not. and the poll is the best solution cuz it`s in community hands to chose whatever the community wants. i know it`s may waest of time but if we didn`t do it nothing was going to be solved .. by this poll whatever the resultes is , diaa and ezabi should not be sad or anything cuz IMOH it`s FAIR enough.

you guys are overdoing it.. there should not be such a thing like strict rules , this is not a country we're running! in fact it is impossible to do perfect rules, and the attempt will only waste time. effort, resources and cause frustration. if only people would have put this amount in more useful things..
and by this poll you promote more wasting of time and resources. if people can't realize the nature of a lug ,then it should be made clear , not be changed to fit their liking, tolerating childish acts isn't one of the lug's jobs.
enough already, i don't personally care who becomes an admin, but screwing like that is not good for the health of the lug.

we need 17 votes minimum for this poll to be valid.
and we need a 2 thirds majority to reach a decision, meaning an option needs at least 66% and not just the largest number, if we fail to reach 2 thirds majority we will have to remove the least popular option and restart the poll.

Dear Penguins,
I have been following up all your mails and views concerning the Admin re-election issue from the beginning. As a friend of Ezabi, I voted to him before and revote to him again few minutes ago. Although, I DON'T CARE now if Ezabi wins or not. You know why?
Because by repeating the election you proved that we have many civilized ways in solving our problems or I prefer to say conflicts by ourselves. You guys highlighted many concepts I thought they have been vanished in this world nowadays.
Diaa & Ezabi, who ever going to win from you, I want him to know that the entire community is now waiting to see what you are going to add. So, be ready not to be greeted but to take responsibilities.

just a clarification
part of the controversy is what the voting period was, the charter says at least 10 days, but the voting anounecment said voting period will be 10 days.
some consider extra time to be ok, some consider extra time to be a problem and some consider 2 hours extra for a 240 hour voting period to be trivial and thus ok.
