He called me to outline some activities, we went there yesterday me and Diaa , the meeting was with the SSTE members and central El-Fawala Engineers , this wasn’t the expected we were expecting to meet Eng.Mohamed Abo Koriesh to finalize the course and the web site issue.
This idea is to help young people who have small business related to computers like small service providers and Internet cafes to use open source software instead of licensed softwares as these people can’t afford to pay for licenses to use these softwares and programs they need free license programs and softwares.
So they need our help to make these people able to use free open source software and to support them to make them able to use the free open source software in an easy way just like the way they use their old operating systems and softwares. This project will be a cooperation between :
- Us (Eglug)
- SSTE
- Citizen’s right community
- and the support of Dr. Gamal Ghetas .
And we are expecting a call from Eng.Mohamed Abo koriesh to have a meeting with these community’s representatives after 2 weeks.

I've got the invitation for one of the SSTE conferences while I was in India, Sure I wasn't able to attend. I'm somehow busy these days, I didn't even write a report about the trip and didn't post the last blog entry ;-)
