Hey mborn, good to see you again! probably messed up SSL support in your mozilla? reinstall mozilla and make sure ssl support is enabled (what distro btw?)

SSL support for Mozilla.

It's SSL support for Mozilla

I used to be indecisive .. but I'm not so sure

wth

just what is mozilla-psm? mozilla has SSL support built in and besides one should never ever install RPMs not made for ones distro, please just stop advicing people to use rpmfind already it only leads to trouble.

PSM

mozilla-psm is a package provides SSL support for the mozilla

It allows mozilla to access SSL web sites

I faced this problem before, while opening the hotmail and actually I can't login unless I install mozilla-psm which stands for personal security manager

worked fine here

worked fine here without any freak packages !!! the only thing i have problem was gaim to use SSL supports for msn and i just installed libnss3 for gaim ... nothing for mozilla and it`s working more than perfect ... i guess try to remove mozilla and install it again.

peace

no need to remove

unless you installed extensions while root (not a bright idea), there is no need to remove mozilla (and it probably won't fix anything), just delete the ~/.mozilla directory to remove all user settings.

we're just humans

can you at least try to give a proper description of your problem, or we should guess what distro you're using, what browser and which version for you? , for God's sake at least paste the error exactly as you get it.
