How did it go??

Marwa??
Diaa??

Can u give us a small report on how was the conference and if u gave a speech or not?

It was a good conference

We (me and Diaa) went yesterday to the SSTE Conference...

Actually it was a very good conference... Dr/Gamal Ghetas , Dr/ Nader el Fergany and Dr/ Abd El-khaliek Farouk were talking about the unemployment and development in communication and information technology... It was a very good issue and everyone was interested in this issue...

I talked to them about FOSS and I asked them why here in Egypt we don't use this technology to reduce unemployment and help in development as FOSS has a big and a main role in development and they were really interested in this issue and they remembered us(EGLUG) from the last conference...

Then after the conference we talked to Dr/Gamal Ghetas and he told us that he was so happy that we are interested in the technology of FOSS...

He also told Diaa that there will be a community so soon that supports the FOSS in Egypt... and its membership will be opened for us to be members in it...

Also there was an engineer that asked us to help his company as they want to migrate to Linux... they want training and support from us... we told him how to contact us and he will come so soon to el-sakia to talk with us about this issue.
