Can't believe that 3 EGlUGians other than me use xterm. I don't know why I use it myself, maybe because I just can't stand waiting for even a femto second for a terminal to open.
gnome term is using libvte, while multi gnome term is using libzvt, So the backend is different, Keep in mind that gnome term is gtk2 and using hell GConf, while multi gnome term is gtk 1.x, and free from GConf.

Where is multi-gnome-terminal
Where is multi-gnome-terminal and eshell ?
Choose wisely
There are a million terminals. I chose the poll options based on freshmeat listings sorted by popularity.
The last poll (about favorite proprietary technology) was criticised quite rightly for having too many options, so I trimmed this one down.
If you use multi gnome terminal, you can either vote for gnome terminal since it's close enough or you can vote for oterm if you're feeling pedantic.
As for eshell, with all due respect I don't see it being popular enough to warrant its own entry.

No, I can't. gnome term is
No, I can't.

So.
Like I said, if you disagree vote for oterm.
I did a little reading after your post, and I'm still convinced one poll option is sufficient. This matter certainly doesn't warrant a long thread.
