GNU/Linux Seminar in Central El Fawala

Today we (Diaa Radwan and Marwa Youssef )went to central el Fawala (Talaat Harb central) to introduce the FOSS technologies and talk about the GNU/Linux platform through a seminar to the engineers working there . Diaa Radwan was the coordinator of this seminar he made the presentation twice first to the communication engineers then to Eng/Mohamed Abo Qoreish as he couldn’t attend the seminar because he was in a meeting. The seminar was so good all the engineers were so satisfied, there was engineers from different fields programmers, communication engineers, network engineers and developers. they were interested in the free software and open source code ,they asked how to contact us(EGLUG) and how we can help them to understand linux and to deal with its environment, they also asked for the linux cds to install linux on their pcs , we recommended Mandrake and we told them to come to el sakia and there we can help anyone who needs help.. Eng/Mohamed Abo Qoreish was so satisfied too, he asked us to give courses to the engineers and the people working there to make them understand linux well and to be able to deal with linux platform. And I’ll handle the connection with Eng/Mohamed Abo Qoriesh to arrange this courses with the Central and us (EGLUG members) as I’ve done before with this seminar ,this issue will be discussed in details during the next gathering in EL-Sakia next Saturday .
