All what you are doing is great from Cairo's point of view but where is alex .. i already said about when will be the instFest ,, to talk to the AAST i already talked with computer engineering department manager and he asked about some details like who and how many ppl and from when till when .. and who is the responsible and i need to know about all these details , nevermind ; but what about the other activities .. like do or die and the sessions related to Linux users in Alex as the one was in cairo related to the firewalls , PHP and SQL .. i'm now in alex and waiting to know any news about anything to be done in alex and i'll try to manage for it but give a real and fixed timed news and thanks

why are you waiting for someone to organize activities for you?
start organizing them yourself, contact the alex members and meet together, find a place to do activities and start organizing.

can you be more specific about the questions?
let me try to answer some.
who?
eglug members, culug members and hopefully lionux-egypt members will work as volunteers, the three groups are not recognized official entities, we're just a bunch of volunteers who met over the internet.
as to who will attend the festival, we don't have any particular target we advertise anywhere and everywhere, so the answer is anyone who may be interested in GNU/Linux and happens to be in alex at the time.
how many ppl?
as much as the hall could fit, in the may install fest we had from around 500 people inside for the whole 7 hours which means something like 3000 people, we have no idea if the turnout will be that big in alex (we did not expect that much last time), it may be less it may be more, so whatever resources AAST is willing to provide we'll use and if the place is full we'll have to ask people to wait for the next time.
from when till when?
the ideal thing would be from early morning to late afternoon/early evening on a weekend at the end of august.
ya3ni for instance from 10 to 6 on the third week of august, bas tab3an we're flexible so if AAST has other preferences let us hear them.
who is the responsible?
comeon, you didn't know how to answer this question??? again eglug volunteers are responsioble for the event, any help AAST can give us is greatly welcome (ya3ni we hope they can provide volunteers bardo).

I need to tell you a small point maybe you don't know about the place .. where AAST Computer eng. take place (Abou Kir), but maybe i'm asking Alexandria's members they know .. i'm talking about the Place that's so far from the middle of the city and also .. how we will gather ppl to participate , maybe members in Alex are few than Cairo ; so .. is it also our buis. to manage it alone without the help of Cairo's members .. About the Activities point , i'm talking also as we are a group .. that shares the same resources so about the activities in cairo we can't participate to it so i'm only asking if you can publish like a documentation for those sessions or courses, and that is the story not more :) about our courses we 'll manage it following our way thanks ;)
