this error appear when i try to install any thing ???

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem. E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

can any one help me???

it seems that there was an error in installing or updating new software. try to run the command that it gave you from a terminal

and post again here if you got any problems

Read the error message!!!

The error message asks you to run dpkg --configure -a
