One day when I booted my linux, I found that my desktop effects (which i was using normally for two weeks) were suddenly disabled.
worse, I found it marked as enabled in the desktop effects preferences. I just disabled and tried to enable again but it gives error message (desktop effects can't be enabled)
so I tried beryl, but it works as fine as before...my problem is that I never knew how to make beryl run automatically again each session. that's actually why I have always used desktop effects instead of beryl.
any solution to any of these?
I don't know about that
I don't know about that desktop effects problem, but to make beryl start automatically each session, go to System > Preferences > Sessions > Startup Programs > New | Give it a name (Beryl) and in the "Command:" field just paste whatever command you use to open beryl manually.
thanks man....I think I
