AZERTY on console

whirlpool's picture

A belgian friend of mine has a laptop that comes with a belgian keyboard. He wants to be able to use the azerty keys with arabic on X. And only AZERTY on console. So I configured XF86Config manually and added: Section "Keyboard" Protocol "Standard" XkbModel "pc105" XkbLayout "be,ar(digits)" XkbOptions "grp:rctrl_toggle,grp_led:scroll" EndSection

And it works great for him and he is very happy.

But the problem is that the console configuration is using a US QWERTY keyboard. My question is, where is the configuration file for the console keyboard configuration ?

My friend is using Mandrake 10.0.
