My Dial up Connection is really killing me. It's a big problem to me because I can't find a 56K modem that is compatible with linux except the conexant one which needs a driver more expensive than the modem itself. I hope someone can help.
we had a copy of that in the apparently taboo linux-egypt experimental wiki, I'm yet to find some free time to migrate my webpage and the historical wiki to the new hosting space, but I'll try to find the file.

Dial up killing me
My Dial up Connection is really killing me. It's a big problem to me because I can't find a 56K modem that is compatible with linux except the conexant one which needs a driver more expensive than the modem itself. I hope someone can help.
Conexant Driver
Hmm. As I recall, I have the driver for that Conexant from before they decided to charge for it; came on the bundled CD, IIRC.
I'll try to dig that out tonight and post it up here. That would certainly be a useful thing.
