arabic on aMSN

Guys i have proplem with arabic on aMSN i use :

suse 10.0 -KDE

aMSN 0.96 ( last version )

arabic letters are recersed and not connected , i chnaged the encoding and font,

but its the same, any ideas..?

amsn is using the Tk UI

amsn is using the Tk UI toolkit. Tk AFAICT doesn't support bidi and shaping for Arabic.

The 3 only solutions are:

  1. Use another client
  2. Fix the toolkit
  3. Get someone to fix it.
