I think that the CV can be more than 1 page, Just be reasonable. I've seen a CV with logos for companies the applicant worked for. That's bad.

My CV is about 3 pages.

> 1 page CVs

I've seen a lot of CVs. A CV is only supposed to be longer than a page or a page and a half if you have several doctorate degrees.

Long CVs is an Egyptian disease.

Hmmm, Even if 1 page is

Hmmm, Even if 1 page is not enough ?

don't say tawfeek, say Tawfeek

First thing I note, is capitalization issue, I dont think sucha mistake is acceptable in a CV. Thus you name should be Mohammed Tawfeek Ahmad Amen not Mohammed tawfeek Ahmad amen Also don't say things like C, c++, make them both capital or both small, I would make them both capital, I am not sure thought what the convention on this is, but I doubt whoever will evaluate ur cv knowsn either, so just be consistent. Finally, all the CV I saw look like this. part 1: Name and Contacts (Address, phone, email, etc ...) part 2: career objectives, few lines, very brief part 3: Education chronologically, from the oldest to the newest part 4: Work experience also chronologically, usually if you work in many many place for short periods of time, it is recommended you removed the work experience that were very brief (between 1 to 3 months)(unless of course you were like a freelancer, in this case all ur work experience will be of that type) part 5: skills, categorizd by skill type, this should be short, i dont think adding things like vim and nano or emacs is very bright, unless you know how to write extension for emacs or something, but if all u know is how to open, edit and close those editor, i think you should not add them in this case part 6: hobbies, this is very optional, but it wont hurt. part 7: some personal informal, like your marital status and military status All the CV in the world looks like this, you can squeeze it in one page especially if you didnt work in that many places, but 2 pages is ok i think, some ppl aslo, deliver mogaladat a dozen pages or so when you describe ur job, impress, use big words, make them think u were the president, where u worked when you describe ur skill, i recommend u be more prudent, its know that in egypt ppl would add to their cvs thing they merely know, like one would add MS Access, and all he did was using in the simplest ways, I recommend you be very honest descrining your skills, but, very proud describe ur jobs, even if all u did was browse the net and chat

I can think of 3

I can think of 3 comments. Part 7, references, as far as I know reference means documents that verify everything u said, like ur school diploman, ur uni diploma, training results, keda ... and usually ppl write in it "furnished upon request" And in the parts about diplomas and experience, if you want to use a table format then just make it a two columns one column containing the date and the other, everything else, name of diploma, job title descriptions we keda Finally, I dont like the part about the skills, but then this is subjective, but I dont understand the asterix '*' thingie!!!! looks odd and confusing the me

I just noticed

In section one, usually at the the top of the CV you just put ur name, address, telephone number and email (in this same order) And the left over personnal data like ur date or birth, nationality military status, and marital status etc ..., are usually at the bottom of the CV, but above the references clause with is always the last thing, ... Also its probably not necessary to say ur gender (actually i found this a little bit spooky!), its evident from ur name plus the military status clause the language skills are also better placed after the other skills this should be all, good luck job hunting

Gender!!!

An employer may disregard CV's with the gender field before screening in order to avoid any later discrimination issues, so you never mention your gender, religion, ethnic background, etc.. in a CV

So long and thanks for all the fish.
