hi all; i wonder if i want to remove a linux from my computer with multiple OS(linux + windows). that includes the bootloader. i want to get my computer the same state it was before i installed linux. if i formatted the linux partition, the boot loader will remain. what todo??

You can just remove the
You can just remove the GNU/Linux partitions and keep the BootLoader .. It is of no harm at all .. Anyhow .. If you install any other OS{ex. Windows}, Its BootLoader will replace the GNU/Linux BootLoader.

boot the machine to a DOS prompt
Then issue the following command

This command will rewrite your MBR
Then you should be able to reboot your machine to windows without seeing the boot loader menu If you have more than one
OR you remove it by installing another windows or linux as Cvirus mentioned
OR remove it from your windows CD using RC ( recovery console ) then issue the following command
