Peace!
My mouse is detected as a 2 buttons serial mouse. I am used to this detection even under Mandrake (I use FedoraCore2 (Home)) but Mandrake can make it and know that it is a three buttons mouse not two. In FedoraCore2 it is a 2 buttons mouse (it detects it as a 2 buttons mouse) not three as is the case. In RH 9,0 I used to make the correction and tell the computer it is a 3 buttons mouse. Now in FedoraCore2 I have nothing to make the fix (to my knowledge) so what should I do to make it know it is a 3 buttons not a 2 buttons mouse. My mouse is 3 buttons serial mouse.
I dont like the emulation idea.

If u r using Fedora Core 2 then ...
u can use the system-config-mouse and choose Microsoft Intelli Mouse (Serial) ... This makes the middle mouse button and the scroll works for me althought when u first set it the mouse cursor will freeze ... try to use the keyboard to open the system-config-mouse again and choose Microsoft Intelli Mouse (Serial) again and press okay ... most propably a bug ... cya
Thank You
