This is my own opinion, And I can't say that I'm not one of them.
I'm one of those admins and I can say that I'm not really doing what I should be doing as a administrator.
The current admins are:
Me, Alaa "both of us are half-active", Conceptor "He might be trying to be active but he's not doing anything", whirlpool and ezabi "both useless IMHO".
The drupal upgrade has been stalling for a long time until I managed to push the process.
info@eglug.org email is full of SPAM and and 2 unanswered emails. One of them is a member seeking help and the other is asking asking for help to organize a workshop about GNU/LINUX.
The website has 2 things to be done after the upgrad: the top search entry is not working and more RSS feeds wnted yet no admin except me is welling to do it ?
Even our poll monkey is not active.

well if you will complain without proposing solution it will be useless too.
if we will not have the agenda to make X number of enhancements then we will do nothing ,sorry except talking and saying we do "anything useful"
on the last period my intention is to organize and conduct events ,since it may be hard to make events at this time, we could enhance the website and it's services.
if we want to solve this argument I think we should make Admins meeting.and we should come up with a list of responsibilities assigned to persons or run it collaborative mode .
or we can dump a wiki of todo list.

The adminship has nothing to do with organizing events.
We don't have a fixed list of things to do, I think that we react to whatever reasonable requests from the community or react according to things arising from drupal.org.
