Today a problem happened in the IRC channel #eglug. We had multiple severe AUP violations from 2 people fighting which ended up with them arranging for a fight somewhere in Cairo!!!
I can't include the logs because it violates the AUP. The problem is that we had no administrators in the channel as we know the only 2 admins who are partially available on IRC are MohammedSameer and Alaa and as some of you know they are both in Uganda for africa source II so they are not available these days which means that no one has control over the IRC channel at the time of this violation. As a moderator I couldn't do anything to stop this and I ended up watching the 2 violating the AUP and afterwards watching one of them proudly announce that he will see the other guy some other time today!!
We usually have no more than 2 admins in the channel and sometimes they are both not available hence we need to give moderators operator access to the IRC channel so we can have more control over it.
And till we decide on this please Diaa or Ezabi or Whrilpool can any of you give us a little amount of your precious time to monitor the channel or give any moderator operator status to handle this for now??

This is serious. And didn't happen before the AUP landed on the channel. Hell, no this is the first time I here such a thing.
I will try to be available on the IRC more. And more power to you ofcourse.
