hi everybody, this is for java linux users, I've been using oracle jdeveloper for all java apps. but ut seems not so good with jsp designing (not developing), so is there any good jsp editor with linux (like dreamweaver in windows)?.. thanx in advance

By the way Oracle JDeveloper IDE is FREE now. it is not GPL but you can use it in your commercial application without money.

I haven't done any _serious_ project on netBeans without getting a zillion exception thrown in my face. And their Swing UI is too slow for a human heart. netBeans out-of-the-box support for J2EE is kinda good cosidering that Eclipse WTP is not ready yet but once you get addicted to Eclipse refactoring capablities (and you don't have to pay any $$$ for the brains behinde IntelliJ), you can't go back!

Eclipse is _the_ modular deve
Eclipse is _the_ modular development platform. It has waaaaaaaaaay much wider plugin community than netBeans'. That was one reason why Zend has choosen to build their next generation IDE on the Eclipse platform rather than continue their current Swing-based Zend Studio.

This is the main problem with Eclipse
Eclipse as a platform is perfect to built an enterprise IDEs over it. But NetBeans is the enterprise IDE ;-)

BUT EClipse will be fine after you get your plugins and test it, then put it in a shared folder and let all team copy it :D that what my team leader did.
