I asked our host to add another 40 GB hdd to our dedicated server in addition to the SCSI one we already have.

But they discovered that the IDE controller failed so they had to replace the motherboard which took more than 1 hour.

Sorry for any inconvenience due to the down time.

also i was offline while this change , but i have a question? why you add extra 40 GB ?!!

do you upload linux distro's to the host? :)

or you are hosting other sites which take much space?

Currently the server is hosting EGLUG only, I'm still thinking about moving foolab. We'll be also hosting phaeronix.net.

I'm not sure about other things at the moment, But the server is equipped with a 9 GB SCSI HDD, That's why we had to expand.
