فى إطار التعاون بين الجمعية العلميه المصريه لمهندسى الأتصالات و مجموعه مستخدمى الجنو لينكس المصريه سيتم تدريب مجموعه من اعضاء الجمعيه على إستخدام البرامج المفتوحة المصدر و كذلك نظام التشغيل
الدوره الأولى كانت فى سنترال الفواله و إنقطعت الدورات لعدم توفر مكان مناسب
هذه الدوره الثانيه بلإشتراك مع الجمعيه المصريه و تم توفير مكان فى معمل بكليه هندسه بجامعه القاهره
سيقدم الدورة ضياء رضوان و سأقوم أنا بالمشاركه
عذرا لنشر الموضوع متأخرا و السبب كان عدم و جود رؤية واضحة عن إمكانية توفير المعمل بمواعيد محدده

1-who told you that the course costs 50 LE.? I think this is too much. we have fight with el sakia for charging people for courses.the only have the membership of el sakia to get beginners courses
2-do not make fun of volunteer's and their work this not accepted for me.
3-I am not graduated from the faculty of engineering ,Cairo university and i will ask about it,I do know the buildings or whatever I will call someone from SSTE to guide me.
4-i think we should put every details on the event announcement this is fine and highly needed,but only data which will concern to people who will read the event (eg. details about attending the course ask about ahmed eid and blabla, it's not public invitation and we are not the organizers we will be maximum 5 ).
5-I will call Eng.Ashraf form sste to ask the charge for this course 50 LE?????.

Just to make it clear
first of all this course is not an open invitation this course is for the SSTE members, so we don't have to tell you every detail about who will we meet or how we will go there as these details are needed for those who will volunteer in this course.. the maximum number for the eglug volunteers who will attend this course is another 3 or 2 members with me and diaa they will attend to know how the course works.. this course as i said is not an open invitation it is for the SSTE members it is an ordinary beginner's course if u need this course u can attend it in el sakia when it begins next week. and the most important thing is that this course is free of charge there is no 50 LE it is completly free for the SSTE memebers,the 50 LE is the fees the university collects from the students in order to use the lab (حق استخدام الأجهزه لمدة ثلاثة ايام).. so this issue is concerned with the university and its students.

SSTE is the organizers
we do not have any connection with Mr.Ahmed Eid.
sooner or later he will know how serious we are (we are expecting this course since we have the first course with SSTE).
we do not know also who is Mr.Ahmed Eid we only know Eng.Ashraf. this course is coordination between SSTE and EGLUG.sste is the organizers

I got now call from Eng.Mahmoud from the SSTE .
he informed me the course will be postponed to next week .as there was some problems to start the course this week.
anyway I called Eng.Ashraf to have confirmation on course cancellation , he confirmed and gave a lot of apologias.
anyway we still need confirmation for next week

All eglug events free of charge, and free as liberty also it is based on voluntary work.
This event is dedicated to simple usage of Foss, you can say for very beginners.
this why it's called beginners courses, last course with SSTE most of attendee were engineers and we skim basic usage ,and they start asking how to write scripts to aid them at work. it differ from course to course according to attendee ,but it's called basic course.
If you are interested on giving Qt/C++ session try to do it at el sakia. if SSTE ask about Qt you will answer them

it's all up to them ,if they are interested this will be fine for us , no problem .
but i heard last course many people are registering to attend the beginners courses they were like 90 member of SSTE .this is large number and it's also large project.they are not one group and they need to have course series.
I do not know what is the state now ,seems they have some problems on organizing course and we can not do this for them.
for your question what they will able to do after the course ,it depends on every individual .

I think this is important as we will have our beginners courses at el sakia soon and the sste may organize more than one course so volunteers will be needed.
for this course I do not know how the lab looks like but i have informed that attendees are 20.
the lab off course will fit more 3 or 4 members of eglug. if anyone interested go there and on the gate ask about Mr.Ahmed Eid. this what i got or try to contact me and we will go together,
