I just can't wait for installing the gnome 2.10 release. I'll then freeze the desktop and do some light testing.
Hardware detection seems to have returned to my LFS calibre.
I got the system down to 690+ Mb. so there is no need for 900Mb CDs anymore. I did this by removing the portage trees and the installed package database.
I will provide them as separate download, after all, only whoever installs the system to the hard disk ( lucky me if he likes it so much ) will need them.
I have some side stuff going on too.
- A simple zenity/bash frontend for clam anti-virus.
- A patch for knoppix's hwsetup to obey /etc/hotplug/blacklist (thanks for Uniball's help, despite his distasteful remarks).

MohamSameer, a disagreement over the content of a presentation that will last for 30 minutes should not affect your helping in developing Phaeronix or not.

first: I am insisting on knowing what I am doing wrong. I will do it right if I know what's wrong. You have that much obligation to me. You can't run around telling me I am doing something wrong without telling me what it IS.
second: I didn't say you were forcing me. All I asked for was for you to state what you thought I did wrong.
third: I am flattered that you like my puny work. I too respect all of your work. I am sure there are people who know far more than I do. I am also sure that you, given the chance, would do as good or better on arabbix.
fourth: this brings us to arabbix, I was pointing at its stalled status. I was comparing, if comparison be just, my active ( yet single handed/minded ) status to arabbix's stagnant state. This is surely not your personal or sole fault. I just feel frustrated when I think, how much work would have been done if I had an honest helping hand, or two. I don't care about the name arabbix or phaeronix or any ix. We need testing and proving ground for arabic FOSS stuff. I hate our sporadic and un-organized approach.
