I'm sorry but the whole community is responsible for the rules
the current admins are not responsible for the rules, the whole community is, if there is a mistake or a weakness in our rules or procedures its been there for too long, and we did another election and no one pointed them out.
the RULES are clear, the only time restriction is AT LEAST 10 DAYS I think 10 days and two hours qualify.
if someone wants to claim that I or someone else spent these two hours campaigining for certain votes, by all means say so, then we'd be discussing an obvious violation and not trying to pretend that our rulez say what they don't say.

Didn't know my late vote will cause such a stir.
I wasn't going to vote at all, if it wasn't for alaa who reminded me on IRC. I have more important things on my mind. After I voted he closed the elections. He of course didn't know who I was going to vote for, so it's out of the question that he did it as conspiracy. I like to think of it as democracy ( true version ). Everyone should have a chance. I didn't read the lengthy law essays on this page, but my idea of a resolution: - Add one more post for the affected person. - The two affected people resolve the matter personally. - Re-election for only those two persons. - Re-election for everyone. - KABBAR dema'3ak and don't act like the fisherman who had to live with the whale on his back. The post is more responsibility, if you have more effort volunteer it, it doesn't have to be under a post's name.
Just my 50 cents ( I got rich ).
Clarification
What's meant before that only administrators who could take ACTION.
What's meant in my previous post that only RULES take effect whatever the situation to put end for controversies for now and future. The only rules related to the situation:

What's meant by American Elections example not that someone spent the two hours compaigining for certain votes. It was example similar to the situation instead of example of 3am sa3ied barbershop who won't mind to accept more 2 or 3 clients in his offday or after he closed which in my IMHO doesn't relate to the situation.
IMO and charter
IMO means in my opinion, my opinion is a dicussion over 2 hours is meaningless, if it was 24 extra hours it might have made sense.
10days + 2 hours == 10 days + 2 hours, a day is 24 hours AFAIK, 242 hours is 10 days in my dictionary not 11.

10 days extension
This problem will only be resolved by extending the elections ten more days. We can ofcourse vote on extending the elections or no. but not who won.
Reelections from scratch is useless as we will dump all the votes we have already, despite the fact that there is no flaw in them. So I say we extend the period so the position between the 5th and 4th would widen.
Note to Conceptor, this would be very fair. As MohammedSameer, Alaa, DJ KING and me would be affected by the extension.

Voting matters shall initially be discussed within the community, a matter is approved for voting if it is presented on the website with 27 approvals, to simplify the process each senior user approval counts as 3 approvals, and each moderator/administrator approval counts as 9 approvals.members that approved it
so the poll got 27 Points and approved.
