انا هربت للينوكس باعتباره مش بيهنج! بس الغريب انه كان بيهنج بعد فترة قصيرة من بدء التشغيل..
جربته على AMD رام 512 حملته واشتغل لكن بعد فترة من بدء عمله كان بيقف تماما..
ولما جيت اجرب على جهاز لابتوب توشيبا..رام 512 وبرسيسور سنترينو..ظهرت نفس المشكلة من قبل ما أحمله على الجهاز..ياجماعة حد قابلته المشكلة دي قبل كدة؟

u don't need to open a terminal go to system -> administration and open synaptic package manager then click on search and type "unrar" and look in the list for a pckage with the same name "unrar" right click on it & click mark for installation then click apply after download & install, u should be able to open rar archives to make rar archives, u may install a package called just "rar" with the same way you installed unrar, but i didn't need to try it yet

معلش..ملقيتش باكيج الرار، لقيت اﻷنرار بس..
الحاجة التانية اني بعد ما ستبت واحد من الكوديكس بتاع الموفي بﻻير، مش عارف إيه اللي ضيع الكوديك بتاع الريل أو معادش بيشغل الريل اوديو..منين ممكن اتحكم في الكوديكس؟

el terminal momken tefta7o men el programs menu --> system tools, hatla2y 7aga esmaha gnome-terminal w da b2a tekteb fih commands zay manta 3ayez eta tal2et el unrar w mala2etsh el rar 3shan zay ma 2oltelak el rar da 7aga non-free beyeb2a esmaha restricted package,, la2ennaha assasan el mafrood befeloos anyway, you can go to system --> adminsitration --> software sources, hatla2y 7agat ma3mollaha mark w unmark,, u can mark the one that says, ubuntu restricted,, 2w non-supported, di lamma te3mellaha mark, e3mel close w 2ollo ok,, keda hayzawed 3al package list el 7agat el restricted, so u can add rar & any other packages the codecs, try looking for codecs in synaptic by name & install a movie player that supports loading all the codecs on the system, like GNOME MPlayer, or vlc anyway, for the major types of codecs,, look for "avifile" in synaptic and install all the packages that start with avifile also you can just type codecs in synaptic to look for also try to install these packages:: gstreamer-0.10 good

مع انه نفس الفايلات كانت بتشتغل قبل ما احمل كوديكس لملفات فيديو DAT
عملت برضو كل اللي قلت لي عليه هنا ومع ذلك ماشتغلش :(
في حاجة كمان غريبة..
unrar مش عارف اشغله.. لما حاولت افتح ملفات الرار منفعش، طلبت Use other program ملقيتش أنرار منهم، كتبت اسمه قبله، لكن مفتحش الأرشيف برضو..
it's not a program
it's not a program, it's a package included in the archive manager that should make it able to open rar files or u can use the command line,,, type unrar "file path & name" to open a command press Shift+F2 then type, gnome-terminal ok?:)
