طبع عدة ورقات عن اللينوكس "شرح تعريف مفهوم مدخل "والمصادر المفتوحة.
عمل تغطية إعلامية جيدة لليوم ومحاولة الإتصال بأكبر عدد ممكن من القنوات والجرائد
الموارد التى تم توفيرها:
- eSpace: مواصلات من والى الاسكندرية لمن يريد الحضور + بروجكتور
- linuxawy: سويتش 8 بورت + لابتوب عليه اوبونتو يمكن عمل ديمو عليه + وايرلس راوتر يمكن استعماله لعمل هوت سبوت
- OpenCraft: 500 اسطوانه أوبنتو. في انتظار النسخه المعدله

If we need a windows box for a session then we bring one. and it should be a genuine one without and pirated application installed.
I don't personally like having a windows box at all but it's a must sometimes.

people already know what windows looks like, we don't need more exposure to windows, I personally don't advise on having any equipment running windows since it may get us into trouble, a rule of thumb, WINDOWS IS UNNEEDED AND TROUBLESOME unless it's an absolute necessity which is not our case So long and thanks for all the fish.

yeah i think u're right now,, what would we like to use windows in a linux event anyway?, ok,, that means i'll bring only my case, good news then

أحيانا بتحتاج ويندوز في المهرجان، مثلا لو عايز تعرض امكانيات سامبا في مشاركة الملفات مع ويندوز. لكن طالما محدّش قال انه ناوي يعمل عرض محتاج ويندوز يبقى احنى مش محتاجينه.

well i have a licensed XP but,,,
well i have a licensed XP but it's on a Laptop,, and I don't think i'll be able to bring both my case and laptop,, but there must be someone who's comin with a laptop and with windows on it,,
and about this vista memory,, Vista requres only a partition with 15GB free to install,, the 40 Gb thing is when you install the 64 i think OR just the general size of the HDD and yeah,, I'm with the progs in win and alternatives in lin,, Pretty encouraging people to change when they see that linux progs do the same and sometimes better :), I allready wrote an idea about that in the wiki of the fest, and I'm vulonteering to do it, but I need someone with me in it

for the compare we will only relay on snapshots from the both sys's no need for any windows boxes I think we can make it a Segments been showed on the projector
for the 40 GB issue it has been written in the official site of microsoft that in the recommended

yeah, they wrote that in the recomended, and in the minimum it's 15 GB,,, so, u need a 15 GB partition only to install vista,, Mine is 20 GB,, 40 GB is recomended for those who will install Giant Suites and games and programs on their primary partition,, but not needed,,, 20's enough in my opinion,, I never wanted more in my C partition,,,, Whatever,, this is a linux Group not a Windows one,,, and I allready had enough of Windows generaly and Vista Specially,,:P
