A friend forwarded me an email with details to a competition for undergradute and gradute students from any field related to ICT. It is about making computers and technology more accesible to old people.

Guys, since GNU/Linux is Open Source and every bit of it can be modified and tinkered. I think it is the only possible platform for a neat solution. Personally I think this all translates to a distro, dumbed down, streamlined and with accessibility features. I don't know really, you are the creative one ... go grab this prize.
