SD Card on Toshiba Satellite A25-S207 running Fedora Core 3 Not Working

I have a Toshiba Satellite notebook (A25-S207) with an SD (Secure Digital) Card slot. Since installing Linux FC3 on it, it doesn't work. The lights don't go on. Nothing in the /var/log/messages. Nothing gets mounted. I did some initial research on the net to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
