I recently heard about the LPI certification and I've been wanting to prepare for the first level of it. And I was wondering if there any courses provided for it. And if not, then what could be the best textbook to self study from?

And if anyone has any experience from it, could they please let me know?

Dear all, Happy Eid isA I've a question about the output of the command "prtconf -v" How can I extract info about hardware and peripherals from it ?

i.e. Assuming server having sunOs 5.10 system I need to know the hardware configuration like disk and emc if any and the size

The desired info after reading the output of the command should be " 1 Sun-StorEdge 3320 and it’s for datab

"gsck must be done manually in the maintainance mode"..how?

believe it or not, linux crashes as windows, even worse..

two mega crashes took place in three days in my xubuntu..

shortly after i installed xubuntu on my pc, i wanted to try the usb stick i have in order to connect wirelessly with the internet.. next, the pc asked me for the password..

do ISPs present such a password to its users in order to connect to the net?

numbers are "reversed" in abi word!

one of the strange things with abi word- comes with xubuntu- is that it writes numbers in reverse orders when writing in Arabic.. in other words, when i want to write 123 it writes it 321..

moreover, it writes arabic as if as we were in the old html before the age of the tag "dir=rtl"..

how can i make such a software writes arabic and english "properly"?
