Mouse is not working!!!

I got an issue while using ubuntu 9.10 on my desktop When I get to run the CD live, and after it completes booting, the mouse doesn't work!!! but when I used another ubuntu CD other than the one I got from EGLUG installation Festival, the mouse works fine!!!

Can any body address this issue!! Bearing in mind, I'm using a PS/2 mouse "Though I don't think its a mouse issue"!!!

انا لسه جديد فى اللينوكس ونزلت نسخة اوبن تو وعايز استفسر على

1/السخه لا تكتب العربيه فماذا افعل

2/كيف استطيع ان انزلها على الكومبيوتر بدون مشاكل اى طريقة التسطيب لانى شغال سى دى لايف والصراحه مش عارف ان

one day i installed ubuntu 8.04 desktop after a great suffering and a harsh five-day download.. and i installed, as well, the md5summer program in order to know whether i installed a valid iso file or not..

i've attended alexandria conference; i'm facing installation issue and seeking help; when I try to partition, after I defined ext3 / and ext3 /home the remaining partition became unusable; it seem that after making 4 partitions ! for your information, I have only 2 drives, windows on c:\, and empty d:\, i'm dedicating d:\ for Ubunto
